Gary Leroy Drury, 49, of Leachville, died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born at Monette, he was the son of the late Jack and Hettie Wrather Drury and was a lifelong Leachville resident. He was a retired farmer and was currently a service station attendant for Metheny's Midway Station at Leachville State Line.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Yogie Drury and a sister, Brenda Sharp.

He is survived by five brothers, Buddy Drury of Tupelo, Miss., Paul Drury of Benson, Ariz., Ricky Drury of Marmaduke, Carl Drury and Tommy Drury, both of Paragould; five sisters, Nina Thomas of DeSoto, Mo., Ruby Thomas of Clinton, Peggy Greer, Teresa Greer and Dot Akin, all of Leachville.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Howard Funeral Service chapel in Leachville with Rev. Wade Drury officiating. Burial was in Leachville Cemetery.
