Pernie Fletcher Tanner, 95, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Lakeside Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 5, 1913, at Williford to the late Charles and Phene Fletcher. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Tanner, and five brothers.

A graveside service was held at Monette Memorial Cemetery with Jerry "Chub" Qualls officiating under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home at Monette.

There was no visitation.
