Jewel W.Modglin

Jewel W. Modglin, 92, a resident of Fountaintown, formerly of Greenfield, Ind., died Monday, May 19, 2008, at her residence. She was born March 6, 1916 in Manila to the late James W. and Maggie (Brock) Wortham. She retired in 1981 from Western Electric after 28 years of dedicated service.

She is survived by a son, Jimmie (Joan) Modglin of Greenfield, Ind.; a brother, Bill (Ruby) Wortham of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Regina (Roger) Morse of Fountaintown, Raquel Moores of Richmond, Raymond Modglin of Indianapolis, Kenneth Modglin of Greenfield; 11 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bearl H. Modglin; sons, Leamon and John Modglin; brother, Bob Wortham; grandson, Tony Modglin.

Funeral service were May 23 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Parker officiating. Burial was in Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
