Ross Malloy fired a one hitter and the Manila Lions banged out 12 hits to take third place in the 3A Regional Baseball Tournament with an 11-0 shutout victory over Cotter Tuesday afternoon at Cave City.
Malloy struck out three while issuing just one walk in five innings of shutout baseball to pick up the win. Michael Shedd led the Manila offensive explosion, going 3-3 with a home run and a double. Shedd scored three times and also knocked in three runs. Hunter Bryan also went deep for the Lions, connecting on a solo homer while scoring three runs. Bryan finished the day 2-2 at the plate.

1-3 with an RBI double and a run scored. Jace Elkins and Tracey Reinhart both went 1-2 with an RBI apiece while Drew Warren collected his first ever high school hit.
The victory upped Manila's record to 16-8 on the season.
Chad Nunnally and Hunter Bryan were both named to the 3A Region All-Tournament team.
The Lions dropped an 8-1 decision Monday afternoon in the regional semifinals to Corning.
Tray Malone picked up the loss. Manila was limited to five hits on the day. Ross Malloy, Hunter Bryan, Michael Shedd, Chad Nunnally and Luke McLaughlin all finished 1-3 at the plate.
