Leachville Police Department receives camera donation

Thursday, February 7, 2008

Rodney Robertson, owner of Robertson Brothers Furniture and Big Butts BBQ, and Terry Chambers, owner of Chambers Electric, in Leachville donated a Kodak digital camera to The Leachville Police Department.

The camera was badly needed for crime scene investigations.

"The new camera is capable of storing over 1,100 pictures at any one time and also has the capability of video recording where our older digital camera only had the capacity of storing 20 digital photos," Chief of Police Keith Evans said.

The approximate cost of the new camera system was $300.
