Manila placed three players in double figures, posting a 56-35 non-conference victory over Campbell, Mo., Tuesday night at Manila.

Kimberly Wise and Kelce Misner led the Lady Lions with 14 points apiece while Rebekah White chipped in 10 more to help Manila come away with the victory.

The Lady Lions jumped out to a 19-6 first period lead and led 30-9 at the half. Manila took a 42-24 lead into the final frame and coasted to the win.

Savannah Jones scored six points while Colleen Kemp and Kristen Painter added five points apiece. Maegan Presson rounded out the Manila scoring attack with two points.

Manila finished 10-14 from the foul line and hit six three pointers.

Shana Bader led Campbell with 17 points.

In junior high action, Manila posted a 29-12 win over Campbell.

Peyton Joyner led Manila with nine points. The Lady Lions held a 2-0 lead after the first period and a 5-3 edge at the half. Manila outscored Campbell 16-0 in the third quarter to blow the game open, taking a 21-3 lead into the final period.

Shelby Wallace scored five points, Courtney Craine tallied four, while Lindsey Green and Taylor Craig netted three points apiece. Brittany Craine and Jordan Robertson scored two points each while Morgan Earnest added one for the Lady Lions.

Manila began the week with a 63-48 loss at Hughes. Jasmine Troup poured in a game high 30 points to lead the Lady Blue Devils, who also got 17 points from Sherika Barrett and 10 from Jennifer Crowder.

Manila placed four players in double figures, led by Rebekah White who scored 12. Kimberly Wise, Colleen Kemp and Kristen Painter all added 11 points apiece.

Katie Donner tallied two points while Heather Dozhier added one point for the Lady Lions, who hit 12-18 free throws. Manila finished with four three pointers, three by Kemp.

Hughes took the junior high contest 40-14, as Charsity Johnson tallied a game high 16 points to lead the Lady Blue Devils.

Taylor Craig led Manila with 10 points while Brittany Craine and Shelby Wallace added two points apiece.

Manila will return to action Monday night when they play host to Brookland in a 3A-3 conference game. The Lady Lions will host Marmduke Thursday night in another league battle.
