Black Oak

Odell Fraizer, 82, of Black Oak, formerly of Manila, died Saturday at the South Mississippi County Regional Hospital in Osceola. Born at Phillipi, Tenn., he was the son of the late Nathan and Rena Hail Fraizer and lived most of his life in the Manila area. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Neil's Chapel Baptist Church near Bondsville.

Survivors include two sons, Nathan Fraizer of Black Oak and James Fraizer of Leachville; two daughters, Mary Bell of Keiser and Bonnie Farrar of Leachville; two stepsons, Lloyd Brewer of Benton and Larry Brewer of Etowah; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Simpson of Etowah; 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery. To sign the guest register log on to www.howardfuneralservice.com.
