BIC Board accepts facility plan

The Buffalo Island Central School Board reviewed the District's 10 year master facility plan at the regular December meeting on Monday night, Dec. 17. The plan to approve a resolution for local support of the master plan passed unanimously.

The board unanimously moved to expel an 11th grade student for the remainder of the school year for repeated disciplinary problems.

The board approved the transfer of Travis McCallie from BIC to Manila. The student has been attending the Manila District.

The board accepted the resignation of home economics teacher Alene Shields effective at the end of the school year.

Board members accepted the minutes and reviewed the financial statements and warrant listings during the meeting.
