Evans named Leachville Chief of Police

Keith Evans has been named Leachville Chief of Police. Evans has over 12 years of experience in law enforcement starting out in 1995 as an auxiliary and part-time officer. He worked several years full time on the Leachville Police Department and has worked the last year and a half with the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department.

Evans said he is pleased to be returning to Leachville and is looking forward to working with the people in the area.

Leachville Police Department has three full time and two part-time officers.
