Funeral service for Charles Wesley Thomas, 83, of West Plains, Mo., was held at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday), at the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Thomas died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at his home. He was born March 27, 1924, in Manila to Don Dotson and Mary Elizabeth Kincaid Thomas. On Aug. 8, 1991, he was married at Udall, Mo., to Vera Jane Jeandeville Craig. Before his retirement, Mr. Thomas was employed for 31 years with the Auto Specialty Company in St. Joseph, Mich. He attended the Chapel Hill Church.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Thomas, of the family home; four step-children, Kent Craig and wife, Pam, of Beebe, Michael Craig of West Plains, Dolphy Craig and wife, Michelle, of West Plains, and Carol Craig of Granby, Colo.; 15 step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Thomas, and wife, Jestine, of Hartford, Mich.; a sister, Jannie Morse, and husband, Johnny, of Hartford, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riverways Hospice and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
