Ash Flat

Lois Marie Walker Gray Edge, 72, of Eaglecrest Nursing Center in Ash Flat, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. She was born Nov. 7, 1935, at Newark. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mayburn "M.L." Walker; her husband, Robert Charles Edge; a daughter-in-law, Carla Gray; a grandson, Dustin Gray; a great-grandson, Daniel Nichols; two sisters, Helen Fleming and Jackie Scrivner.

She is survived by her mother, Clara Walker of Osceola; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Kenneth Gatewood of Blytheville, Tinker and Jeff Stobaugh of Armorel, and Marie and Tim Huff of Cooter, Mo.; six sons and daughters-in-law, David and Linda Gray of Manila, Frankie Gray of Blytheville, Tommy and Angela Gray of Blytheville, Julian and Rhonda Gray of Cherokee Village, Gerald Jr. and Lori Gray of Armorel, and Ricky and Mary Gray of Gosnell; three stepsons, Kenneth and Danny Edge of Booneville, Miss., John C. Edge of Alabama; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and J.E. Vance of Alamo, Tenn., Patricia Biggerstaff of Jackson, Tenn., Clarann and Joe Street of Jackson, Tenn., Darlene Arnold of Osceola; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Diane Walker of Newport, Billy and Glenda Walker of West Memphis, Johnny and Angie Walker, Mayburn and Jeanette Walker, and Jimmy and Tracy Walker, all of Osceola; 21 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Brother Gary Hyde officiating. Burial was in the Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola with Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola in charge of arrangements.
