Osceola

Inetha Sue Walker, 68, of Osceola, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at her home. She was born June 22, 1939, at Jackson, Tenn. A homemaker, she was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Osceola for over 30 years. She was a charter member and a former Sunday School teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Idus Walker, and her parents, Bonnie Lee Hale and Zola Connor.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Jeanette Williamson of Osceola; a son, David Walker of Blue Grass, Iowa; three sisters, Marie Hicks of Blytheville, Willie Bond of Steele, Mo., and Brenda Armstrong of Tyronza; six brothers, Lillard Hale of Osceola, Edward Hale of Auburndale, Fla., Roger Hale of Steele, Mo., Bobby Hale of Caruthersville, Mo., Bill Hale of Blytheville, and Jerry Hale of Manila; four step-grandchildren, one grandchild and nine step-great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Westside Baptist Church in Osceola with Rev. Wayne Moore officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of arrangements. Burial was at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
