The donation was accepted on behalf of the residents by Angela Shipley, personal and medical records department at MNC.
"We heard you were in need of a barbecue grill so Tenaris wanted to meet that need," Mendiola said.
"We appreciate the gift," Shipley said. "It will go well with our new pavilion. When we cook for the residents we want to be able to cook enough for everyone."
Tenaris representatives heard about the need at MNC through employees who volunteer and work at Manila Nursing Center.
Chuck Wilder works in the human resource department at Tenaris and volunteers his talent to play the guitar and sing for the residents once a month.
"Residents look forward to him coming every month," Shipley said.
David Cooper works in maintenance at Tenaris and also works part-time in the maintenance department at Manila Nursing Center. Mrs. Cooper is on staff at Manila Nursing Center.
"I enjoy doing what I can for the residents at Manila Nursing Center," Mr. Cooper said.
