Wright new site director at Monette

Nelroy Wright is the new Senior Center site director at St. Bernards Senior Center in Monette.

Wright is a longtime native of Monette and is looking forward to working with the senior citizens.

Wright worked at Frolic Footwear as supervisor from 1969 to 2005 when it closed in Monette. She worked for CID Head Start after her retirement from Frolic. When the site director position came open for the center she decided to apply.

Wright said she enjoys working and is not ready for retirement. She likes to be out in the public with people.

She has one child, Robert Mack Pitts of Monette and two grown grandchildren, Breanna, 23, of Conway, and Brice, 18, of Monette.
