Tabitha "Casey" Shepard, 22, of Leachville, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Paragould, she was a lifelong Leachville resident. She was a 2003 graduate of Manila High School, a former employee of Manila Subway and was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, J.D. and Lydia Shepard; aunt, Regina Shepard, and uncle, Ronnie Fortson, Jr.
She is survived by her parents; J.D. Shepard, Jr. and Diana Brown Shepard of Leachville; two sisters, Whitney Shepard and Ashley Shepard, both of Leachville;
and maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Connie Fortson of Leachville.
Funeral service was 10 a.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with burial in the Leachville Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Darrin McFall, Allen Rogers, Alfred Brown, Chris Jackson, Casey Sipes, and Jim Edd Robins.
Honorary pallbearers were Chad Decker, Brandon Decker, Josh Shepard, Adam Smith, Todd Shepard, Blake Miller, Nicholas Carmichael, Gavin Parker, Michael Parker, and Jaxton Decker.
