Richard Lee Williams, 84, of Osceola died Oct. 5, 2007, at SMC Regional Hospital in Osceola. Born Oct. 5, 1923, at Heartsville, Ala., he was a retired farmer and of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include a brother, Ed Williams of Alabama, a brother-in-law, Bailey Smallwood of Lepanto; a sister-in-law, Laverne Branne of Lepanto; and a nephew, Wayne Smallwood of Etowah.

Graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Monday at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, Bro. Jim Roller officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
