Terry Polston, 47, of Lake City, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at his home. He lived in the Jonesboro area for 30 years. He was an advocate for the disabled.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Polston of Lake City; sons, Robert Anthony Polston of Strawberry, David Ryan Polston of Clarksville, Tenn.; parents, Jerry and Verlin Polston of Springdale; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Diane Polston of Clifty; sisters and brothers-in-law, Twana and Russell Miller of Evening Shade, Tonya and John Heckman of Sherwood, Tracy and Tim Day of Springdale; grandson, Taylor Blake Hugg; and grandmother, Pauline Mullins of Springdale.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethabara Baptist Church at Lake City.
Honorary pallbearers were Allen Polston, Kenny Polston, Timmy Polston, Christopher Polston, David Ryan Polston, Robert Polston, Donivan Jones and James Willard.
