Etowah
Myrtle Ruth Taylor, 64, of Etowah, died Aug. 29, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Feb. 12, 1943 in Wilson. She was a supervisor seamstress and a member of the Midway Church of God.
She was preceded by death by her parents, R.B. Atchley and Bernice Kelley, a brother, Lowell B. Atchley, and a sister, Polly Ann Sheppard.
She is survived by her husband, Elvin Taylor of Etowah; daughters, Teresa Ann Elrod of Osceola, Bonnie Carol Warren of Fort Smith, Jennifer Ruth Taylor of Osceola, Connie Francis Hampton of Etowah, and Donna Bernice Taylor of Dyess; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Brother Robert England officiating. Burial was in Bassett Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
