Ira Lynn Faulk, 55, of Lake City (Dixie community) died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at his residence. He was born Feb. 20, 1952, in Paragould, the son of the late Shirley Ellis and Wilma Rozella Jeffers Faulk. He was employed at St. Bernards Medical Center and was a collector of Indian artifacts. He was a member of Dixie Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Porshey Whitlock Faulk of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Kala and Shannon East and Courtney and Brian Meier of Jonesboro; brothers, Danny Faulk of Paragould and Gaylon Faulk of St. Louis; a sister, Sue Freeman of Paragould; a granddaughter, Allyson Ally "Graze" East of Jonesboro; the Whitlock family; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Brandon Brown officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gary Whitney, Blake Lawrence, Wesley Lawrence, Jackie Winningham, Pete Whitlock and William R. Whitlock.

Honorary pallbearers were Galen Lawrence, Shannon East, Brian Meier, Marlene Jones, Betty Michael, David Bellamy, Phillip Hairell and brothers-in-law.
