Versal L. Robins

Leachville

Versal L. Robins, 89, of Leachville, widow of Odell Robins, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Flippin, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Ida King Pilgrim and had been a Leachville resident since 1938 at which time she became a member of First Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jerry Lee Robins; great-great-grandson, Kaylan Robins; two brothers, Robert and Bill Pilgrim, and a sister, Ethel Crews.

She is survived by two sons, Marvin Robins of Leachville and Jerry Robins and wife, Joyce, of Lake City; two daughters, Linda Blocker and husband, Don, of Mt. Ida and Elizabeth Gathright and husband, John, of Monette; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Jerry Kausler officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
