Jimmy Wayne McDole, 66, of Manila, died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at his home. Born in Manila, he was the son of the late John and Clara Edna Reis McDole. He was a lifelong Manila resident and the owner/operator of McDole Trucking Company.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy McDole, of Manila; a daughter, Julie Tarver, of Manila; two brothers, Junior McDole of Mountain Home and Jerry McDole of Piedmont, Mo.; three sisters, Lela Baughtman of Conway, Annie Duncan of Searcy, and Shirley Davison of Manila; four grandchildren, Caleb Wayne Milligan, Jacob Tarver, Hunter Tarver, and Ashton McDole; and a special friend, Mary Smart, of Manila.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Jerry Flagg officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were Danny Stutts, David Smith, Mike Tarver, Michael Smith, Glenn Pennington and Jeff Pennington.
Honorary pallbearers were Fred Stutts and Donnie Rice.
