William Edward "Bud" Thweatt, 69, of Forrest City, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at the Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.

Mr. Thweatt was born Nov. 19, 1937, in Brinkley, and was the son of Ernest Weeks Thweatt and Evie Flake Thweatt. He lived in St. Francis County most of his life, was a ceramic tile setter, and was a veteran of the Army.

He is survived by two brothers, Jimmy D. Thweatt of Kansas, and Tony Thweatt of Jonesboro; four sisters, Laverne Autry of Germantown, Tenn., Earnestine Rhama of Salem, Phillis Rothammer of Collierville, Tenn., and Debra Fowler of Blytheville.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home chapel on Thursday. Burial was in Forrest Park Cemetery with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
