Rosina Marie McComas, 66, of Leachville, died Friday, June 8, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Rockford, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie Dall Ferger and had been a Leachville resident for the past five years. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Rockford.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Raymond McComas of the home; five sons, Steve McComas and wife, Connie, of Kalamazoo, Mich., Bruce McComas and wife, Sandy, of Leachville, Jesse McComas and wife, Christie, of Leachville, James McComas of Leachville and Doug McComas of Kalamazo, Mich.; a brother, Bob Ferger and his wife, Nora, of Rockford, Ill.; three sisters, Marilyn Parks and husband, Bill, Linda Schaffer and husband, Rick, and Anna Branham, all of Rockford, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Madge McComas and her son, David McComas.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Bill Hattenhauer officiating. It was followed by a private interment at a family cemetery in Hardy.
