It was a full house as family, friends and fans joined Ronnie Presley Sunday afternoon at the Cowboy Grill in Caraway for a CD release party. Presley is a longtime resident of Caraway and recently released his first album/CD, "Heaven on Earth." The CD features original songs and is a reflection of his life based around the people, events and surroundings where he grew up and still resides with his wife, Tammy.

Presley thanked everyone for their support and for joining him for the release party.

Refreshments, including a large cake featuring a picture of the cover of the new CD, were served as guests got a preview of the CD and more live as Presley sang.

Guests had the opportunity to purchase CDs, tee shirts, visit with the songwriter and enjoy a free jam session.

Roger Williams, also of Caraway, joined Presley on several songs. Presley and Williams played in the same band for several years. Calvin McHenry also joined the jam session on the drums along with Ronnie Rosemond who played with Presley in the 1970s.
