Bob Blean Bibb, 79, of Monette died Friday, April 6, 2007, at Select Specialty Hospital in St. Francis, Tenn. Born in Monette, he was a retired automobile salesman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Ivy and Alto Do Bibb, and a brother, Lloyd Bibb.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Annette Thompson Bibb, of the home; three daughters, Debbie Kurlann of Tampa Bay, Fla., Vickie Haywood of Missouri and Laura Bibb of Corona, Mich.; two stepsons, Guy Owen Sheldon and William Lowell Sheldon, both of Mount Morris, Mo.; four stepdaughters, Linda Camille Mullin of Clio, Mich., Dawn Marie Sheldon of Evergreen, Colo., Ellen Irene Williamson of Omaha, Neb., and Elizabeth Ann Pegler of Monette; a sister, Frankie Adams of Monette; 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Monette Cemetery with Michael Broadaway officiating under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
