Marvin "Pug" Farley, 76, of Osceola died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Osceola. Born Sunday, June 29, 1930, in Caraway to Elbert and Mae King Farley, he was a member of Osceola Church of Christ. He worked 32 years as supervisor for American Greetings and was employed by Roller-Swift Funeral Home for the past 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Farley of the home; three daughters, Gail Ramsey of Caraway, Robin Singleton of Blytheville and Allyson Eller of Cordova, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Briley Singleton of Jonesboro, Laurel Hatch of Caraway, Tice Singleton of Blytheville and Keegan Eller of Cordova; a great-grandchild, Easton Hatch of Caraway; a brother, Norman Farley of Pinole, Calif.; and a sister, Evelyn Fry.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Roller-Swift Chapel with Greg Smith officiating.
A private burial followed in Monette Cemetery.
