Bill Blaylock, 68, of Osceola died Monday, March 5, 2007, at S.M.C. Regional Medical Center in Osceola. Born Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1938, in Dell, to Thomas Andrew Blaylock and Eula Banks Blaylock, he was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Osceola and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Blaylock, of the home; three sons, David Wroten of Little Rock, Tim Blaylock of Gosnell, and Brad Blaylock of Jonesboro; one daughter, Tina Russell of Osceola; two brothers, Alton Blaylock of Blytheville and Dale Blaylock of Manila; eight grandchildren, Nonnie Blaylock, Alex Wroten, Casey Wroten, Bailey Blaylock, Matthew Bohannan, Michael Bohannan, Allie Lunsford, and Lathe Lunsford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Phil Tracey Blaylock, and a brother, Clifford Blaylock.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at Eastside Baptist Church with Brother Tom Doty officiating. Burial was in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Roller-Swift Funeral Home of Osceola.
