Burell Dow, 72, of Leachville, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007 at his daughter's home in Homestead, Fla. Born in Ft. Smith on Jan.19, 1935, he was retired from Colson Caster Company and a member of Second Baptist Church of Leachville.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Reba Dow; and a son and two daughters.
Survivors include his wife, Cordie Dow of Leachville; two daughters, Mary Ann Masters of Homestead, Fla. and Marlyn Siver of Clinton; one son, Albert Dow of Berryville; thirteen step children, Shot Thomas, PeeWee Thomas, Jeep Thomas, John Thomas, Joanie Cantrell, Debra Pemberton all of Leachville, Linda Pendergrass of Monette, Tony Thomas of Concord, Harvey Thomas, Bill Thomas, Danny Thomas, Dean Thomas all of Shirley and Bo Thomas of Oxford; five grandchildren, Dana Fraysher and Michael Fraysher of Charleston, SC, Lacy Dow of Berryville, James Allen Orr of Omaha, AR and James Ray Austin of country of England.
The funeral was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at the Second Baptist Church in Leachville with Rev. Russell Rhodes officiating. Burial wasin Leachville Cemetery under the direction of the Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
Honored to serve as active pallbearers are Danny Thomas, Jeep Thomas, Dean Thomas, Harvey Thomas, Bill Thomas and Tony Thomas.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, at Second Baptist Church in Leachville.
