Clara Roedel, 93, of Lake City died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at her residence. She lived in Jonesboro most of her life prior to moving to Lake City. She was a retired school teacher.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Roedel of Jonesboro; daughter, Patricia Roedel Bacon of Monroe, Wis.; sister, Kitty Lilliker of Jonesboro; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Roedel; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lilliker; a brother, Robert Lilliker; and two sisters, Mamie Griffin and Mary Dinsmoore.

No funeral services are planned.
