David Glenn Davis, 51, of Franklin, Tenn., formerly of Manila died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at his home in Franklin. Born at Marked Tree he had lived most of his life in Manila before moving to Franklin 11 years ago. He was the son of the late Dewey Davis and was a member of the Thompson Station Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Crafton Davis, of the home; two daughters, Falyn Davis of Franklin, Tenn., and Mindy Banister, of Blytheville; his mother, Bettye Lou Helton Davis of Manila; three brothers, William Davis of Manila, Larry Davis of Ft. Wroth, Texas, and Kenny Davis of Gosnell; a sister, Brenda Pierce of Murfreesboro, N.C.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Manila with Rev. Ray Dill officiating. Burial was in Franklin, Tenn.
