Tina Davis named Monette Manor Employee of the Year

Tina Davis has been chosen as Monette Manor Employee of the Year for 2006. Davis has worked 11 consecutive years for the facility as Lane's Nursing Home and Monette Manor.

Davis is social director, transport aide and certified nursing assistant.

The employee of the year is chosen from the employees of the month. Each month an employee is chosen throughout the year. Davis was October employee of the month.

She and husband Dennis reside in Black Oak. They have three children, John, Ryan, and Allen. They have four grandchildren, Devin, Sam, Blake and Wesley.

Davis is a member of the Monette Church of Christ.

She enjoys being with the residents and helping them.

"My co-workers are like family and I have known many of them all of my life," she said.

"Tina is very deserving of this award," Administrator Marla Layne said. "She is a dedicated, caring and loyal employee. No matter what the job she is asked to do she is always willing to tackle it. She is one of the great employees that make u the family of Monette Manor."
