Robert Gerald Taylor, 57, of Leachville died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at his home. Born at New Madrid, Mo., he was the son of the late John Elbert and Edith Wright Taylor. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired welder for Darling Store Fixtures in Paragould. He had been a Leachville resident since 1972 and was of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and two infant children.
Survivors include his wife, Lana Sue Wagner Taylor of the home; a son, Robert David Taylor of Leachville; a daughter, Sarah Mangroo, and husband Navin of Leachville; two brothers, John Taylor of Jonesboro and Melvin Taylor of Everett, Mass.; a sister, Brenda Gossett of Jonesboro; a granddaughter, Stephanie Taylor of Leachville, and two grandsons, Zachary Taylor and Brandon Taylor, both of Knoxville, Tenn.
Services were 10 a.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Cahpel in Leachville with Chad Wagner and Russel Rhodes officiating. Burial was iin Macey Cemetery near Monette.
