Martha Elizabeth Goff, 93, of Blytheville died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born May 12, 1913, in Bertrand, Mo., the daughter of John Henry and Ella Rushing, she was a longtime Blytheville resident and homemaker. She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Women's Missionary Association and taught Sunday school for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Goff; a son, Carl Wilson, Sr., and several brothers and sisters.
She leaves her children, Louise Calvert of Blytheville and Grady Goff and his wife Helen of Leachville; a special granddaughter, Cathy Calvert of Blytheville; four grandsons, Carl Wilson, Jr. of Jonesboro, Timothy Goff and Jeff Goff of Leachville, and Mark Goff of Newport, and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Coy Camp officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
