Louise Talley, 63, of Jonesboro died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, in St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Biggers and had lived all her life in the Jonesboro area. She was a member of Strawfloor Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jessie Emmons; two sisters; a brother; and a son.

Survivors include Roy Talley of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Randel and Lauri Talley of Lake City; granddaughter, Rachael Louise Talley of Lake City; brothers, Dewayne Emmons of Clarksdale, Miss., and Johnny Emmons and Eddie Emmons, both of Jonesboro; and sisters, LaVerne Fears of St. Louis and Kay Roedel and Janice Fisher, both of Jonesboro.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Robbie McMasters officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Nephews and great-nephews served as active and honorary pallbearers.
