Mildred Snider, 80, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Aug. 11, 1926, in Romance. She lived most of her life in the Monette area and was a homemaker and a member of the Monette First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Lee and Harriet Gussie Hogan Snider; four brothers, Charlie Delphie Snider, Oscar Everett Snider, William Carl Eston Snider, and James Howard Alonzo Snider, and seven sisters, Willie Clara Baker, Jessie Lee Snider, Opal Estelle Alberts, Gladys Evelyn Snider, Blanch Elmer Ellen Morris, Mary Francier Lucille Reynolds, and Lois Alene Lancaster.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was at 10 a.m. Friday in Monette Memorial Cemetery, at Monette, with the Rev. Clarence Cornish officiating.
