Marjorie Lee Moore Pittman, 81, of Stuttgart, formerly of Caraway, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock. Born in Agnos, Ark., on Sept. 17, 1924, she spent the majority of her

life in the Caraway area as a homemaker before moving to Stuttgart a few years ago. She was a member of the Rowe's Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Pittman; her parents, Junis and Maude Moore, and two brothers, John Moor and Jack Moore.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Dianne Pittman of Stuttgart; a brother, Orwell Moore of Caraway; two sisters, Maxine Corbitt of Tampa, Fla., and Anna Pearl Roberts of Jonesboro; three granddaughters, Julie Blevins of Dewitt, Jennifer Davis of Stuttgart and Jayna Pittman of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren, Haley and Connor Blevins of Dewitt and Alannah and Garrett Davis of Stuttgart.

A celebration of her life was held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 26, at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Michael Taber officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery.

Honored to serve as active pallbearers were her nephews.
