Alpha Mae Edge, 90, of Marion, died Aug. 22, 2006, at Willowbend Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Blackwater Church of God.

She is survived by four sons, William Julius Edge of West Memphis, Carl Richard Edge of Lake City, Ernest Lee Edge of Fayetteville, and Donald E. Edge of West Memphis; two daughters, Ilene Ashley of Proctor and Patsy Mae Mume of San Antonio, Texas; and two sisters, Vilent Edge of Booneville and Easter Edge of Booneville; 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Edge.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Friday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Bassett Cemetery.
