Randal Franklin Floyd of Monette was born Aug. 22, 1942. He died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at the age of 63.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Floyd, and his father, Eldon Floyd.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Floyd of the home; a son, Barry Floyd, and his wife, Misty, of Paragould; a daughter, Rhonda Davis, and her husband, Jeff Davis, of Stillwater, Okla.; a brother, Larry Don Floyd, of Poteau, Okla.; a sister, Vickie Payne, of Gulf Shores, Ala.; three grandsons, Randy Floyd, Bobby Davis and Taylor Davis; two granddaughters, Desiree Floyd and Sierrah Floyd; and many friends.

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Phillips Funeral Home-Center Hill Chapel at Paragould.

Family and friends gathered at the Floyd home in Monette on Friday evening.
