Linnie Hill honored on her 103 birthday

Linnie Hill, a resident at Monette Manor, celebrated her 103 birthday on July 13. She has lived most of her live in the Leachville area.

She has seen a lot of changes and lived through a century of history - from the horse and buggy days through watching a man walk on the moon.

Ms. Hill lived alone until she was 96. She cooked her own meals and worked in her yard. She worked for many years at Pyett Dime Store.

She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Leachville.

On her special day she welcomed family and friends and shared cake and memories.
