Ruby Lee Bishop, 74, of Dell, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born April 20, 1932, in Lepanto. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of William Rufus Bishop.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Baldock of Memphis, Tenn., and Barbara Dehart of Manila; a son, Bobby Wayne Bishop, of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Juanita Stillwell of Osceola, and Martha Stracener of Marion; a brother, Jerry Hauptman of Lake City; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Bishop, a sister, Eloise Hauptman, and a brother, Cleo Hauptman.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Manila Cemetery with Rev. Datron Barnes officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
