Larry Dean Cole, 46, of Manila died Saturday, June 15, 2006, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born in Leachville he had been a lifelong Manila area resident and was a self-employed cotton ginner and gin repairman.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, C.W. and Hattie Mae More, as well as Jim and Elsie Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Long Cole, of the home; a son, Chris Cole, of Manila; two daughters, Christina Petty of Leachville and Courtney Shumate of Manila; his parents, Justin Adam and Barbra Jean More Cole of Collierville, Tenn.; two brothers, Justin Cole of Leachville and Russell Cole of Madisonville, La.; three sisters, Teresa Pierpoali of Memphis, Tenn., Tammy Hemphill of Williston, Tenn., and Regina Wells of Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) in the Howard Funeral Chapel of Manila with Rev. Craig Stull officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
