Wilma G. Graves, 87, of Leachville, widow of Delbert Hooker and Cecil Graves, died early Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Manila Nursing Center. Born at Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mamie Bylander Guinn and had lived most of her life in Leachville. She was a member of the Leachville United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the choir. Mrs. Graves was a member of the Eastern Star, the Home Extension Service and former member of the Mississippi County Fair Board.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Clarise Hooker of Bunkie, La.; grandson and wife, Heath and Lee Anne Hooker of Leachville; and great-granddaughter, Abbylee Hooker, of Leachville.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Leachville Cemetery with her pastor, Rev. Donnie Hudson, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
