David Dwayne Holt, 45, of Lake City died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Jonesboro. Mr. Holt was born at Trumann where he lived his lifetime. He was an employee of Arkansas State University as a telecommunications manager, a 1979 graduate of Bay High School, a certified diver, an avid duck hunter, Com-Train certified and of the Baptist faith.

He as preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Jeanette Holt.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Holt, of Jonesboro; a son, Matthew David Holt, and a daughter, Brittney Lauren Holt, both of Jonesboro; his father, Leonard Holt of Trumann; three brothers, Ricky Holt and Jerry Holt, both of Lake City, and Ronnie Holt of Trumann; and a sister, Jackie Musto of Bricktown, N.J.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Thompson Funeral Home Chapel at Trumann with the Rev. Leonard Knight officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Active pallbearers were Justin Griffin, Doug Griffin, Scott Arender, Andrew Williamson, Ted Gary and Clayton Mays.

Honorary pallbearers were Telecommunications Department at Arkansas State University.
