Mary Sue Wallace Woodsmall died Monday, May 22, 2006, in Heber Springs where she resided for the past six years. She was born Oct. 7, 1925, to the late Ben and Alice (Price) Wallace near Monette. She spent her life there until she married Harvey C. Woodsmall on Jan. 13, 1914. Soon thereafter, they moved to Jonesboro and on April 22, 1945, their lives were blessed with the birth of their son, Allen D. "Rick" Woodsmall of Heber Springs. They made their life in the same house for the next 46 years until Harvey passed away in 1991.
Mrs. Woodsmall retired from G.F. with 34 years of service. She leaves several nieces, nephews and many friends behind.
A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Monette Cemetery with Rev. William Piercy officiating.
Nephews served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Clif Adams, Larry Porpier and Larry Lunati.
