Mary Frances McElroy - Jonesboro

Mary Frances McElroy, 87, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Craighead Nursing Center. Born at Napa, Idaho, she lived in Jonesboro one year, and was formerly of Lake City. She was a homemaker and she had worked at Frolic Footwear Company. She was a member of Refuge General Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry McElroy and his wife, Tommye, and Larry McElroy, and his wife, Norma, all of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. McElroy; parents, John and Ellen Fincher Gage; one grandchild; two brothers; and one sister.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday with a graveside service at McElroy Cemetery near Wynne. The services were under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
