Kellen Gage ripped an RBI double that keyed a five run sixth inning to lead Bay to a 10-8 come from behind victory over Riverside in the semi-finals of the 3AA South District Tournament Monday afternoon at Trumann.

The Yellowjackets started the inning down 8-5, but used a pair of costly Riverside errors to set up Gage's run scoring double which sparked the winning rally. Tyler Q. Griffin also drove in a pair of runs with a clean single into left field that capped off the five run rally.

Riverside built an early 8-3 lead as the Rebels banged out eight base hits, including two each by Beau Hogan, Glen Graham, and Caleb McCluskey. Graham finished the day with two RBIs while Hogan and McCluskey drove in one run apiece. Tyler Timms and Garrett Weaver both added doubles in the Rebel attack.

Timms pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up 10 hits and 10 runs, four of which were earned. The senior righthander who saw his overall record slip to 1-6, finished with three strikeouts and two walks.

The Yellowjackets were paced by Gage, who had three hits and scored three times. Garrett Bollinger had two hits and an RBI to go along with three runs scored. Bollinger got the win in relief, pitching the final three innings, as the Jackets advanced to the tournament finals against Marked Tree.

Riverside will return to action Monday afternoon in the first round of the Region 4 Tournament at Monette. The Rebels will enter the tournament as the number four seed from the 3AA South and will take on the 3AA North's regular season and District Tournament champion Walnut Ridge in a 4:00 p.m. match-up.
