Manila pounded out 13 hits and came away with a 7-6 victory over Blytheville in non-conference action Monday afternoon at Blytheville.
B.J. Stone went 2-4 and had three RBIs while Ross Malloy also went 2-4 and drove in one run to lead the Lions. Cody Wells and Michael Shedd picked up a pair of hits apiece while Frankie Cowgill, Chase Shelton, Luke McLaughlin, Chad Nunnally, and Kyle Evans all had one hit each.
Nunnally (8-2) went seven innings to pick up the victory, striking out four while allowing four earned runs.
Manila, 14-11, will enter this week's District Tournament as the number three seed. The Lions will open play Monday night at 6:30 against host Harrisburg.
