Clara Etta (Leach) Rule - Harrisburg

Clara Etta (Leach) Rule, 87, of Harrisburg died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Manila Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 24, 1919, at Brookland. She was a former nursing assistant. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

She is survived by three brothers, Eugene Leach of Jonesboro, Willard Morgan of Arnold, Mo., and Harold Morgan Sr., of Cuba, Mo; two sisters, Ola Brazil of Little Rock and Betty Scott of Manila, and two special cousins, Maxine Bates and Bernice Rice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Junior Rule; her father, Beulah Leach; her mother, Victoria (McCracken) Morgan; and stepfather, Connie Morgan.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kenny McMahn officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland.

Pallbearers were J.C. Smith, George Bates, Teddy Ford and Danny White.
