Donald Primm - Lake City

Donald Primm, 58, of Lake City died at his residence on Sunday, April 2, 2006. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro and an employee of the concrete shop of the Craighead County Highway Department. He was born on Sept. 8, 1947, in Lake City to William and Cleavie Williams Primm.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie Thompson Primm of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Patsy Primm of Leachville; a daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Steven Davidson of Jonesboro; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Krystal Hunt of Harrisburg; three stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Carrie and B.J. Green of Poteau, Okla., LaDonna and James McMasters and Teresa and Bob Hutchison, all of Bay; four brothers, William Alvin Primm of Bangor, Mich., Joe Kay Primm and McArthur Primm, both of Jonesboro, and James Bruce Primm of Bono; and three sisters, Shirley Williams, Shelby Tate, and Pansy Howle, all of Bono.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy Barrett Primm; three brothers; and a sister.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Langford-Bookout Funeral Chapel with Nathan Primm and Bruce Primm officiating. Burial was in Nettleton Cemetery with Langford-Bookout Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers were Allen Biggers, Jeremy Walker, Tommy Davis, Eugene Cambron, Greg Simpson and Chad Williams.

Honorary pallbearers were employees of the Craighead County Highway Department.
