Rev. Harold C. Thompson Sr. - Blytheville

The Rev. Harold C. Thompson, Sr., 99, of Blytheville died March 9 in Blytheville.

Born to Haskins and Antonia Carney Thompson at Blytheville, he was an evangelist and pastored at Nazarene Churches in Pine Bluff and Helena.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Sue Thompson Jr. of Blytheville; a sister, Rebecca Mitchell, of Monette; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, in Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Mitchell officiating. Services were under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville.
